The Off-Campus
Educational Administration Program offered in Oak Brook
offers graduate programs that embrace the broad array of administrative
and supervisory positions in education. The Oak Brook General
Administrative Endorsement (Type 75) cohort program is designed
to provide educators with the knowledge, skills, and experiences
needed to meet the challenges and demands of contemporary
building-level leaders, including principals, assistant principals,
deans, and department chairs. It is built around a concept
of educational leaders that envisions the administrator as
an active learner and a facilitator of learning. Leaders are
seen as thoughtful professionals who are reflective by inclination,
nurture and support a community of shared values based on
democratic principles, and empower others to lead.
U.S. News and World Report ranks the
UIUC Educational Administration program 14th out of over 500
educational leadership programs in the nation. |
